Best Bath Toys

As long as I don’t get anywhere near my kids’ heads with shampoo, they LOVE bath time. Playing in the tub with toys and bubbles and cups. Their imaginations run wild and they scream when it’s time to get out – you know, when the water is ice cold, fingers are wrinkly and their teeth are chattering.

A few years ago, we started adding “bath toys” to our kids’ birthday recommendations for relatives because they’re something we don’t think to buy, they are super fun for the kids and it’s fun to see what other people think of when it comes to choosing fun bath toys.

We think this list below is a GREAT starting point for choosing toys for your little bather. If your kid’s reluctant to get in the water, these might help, too. A squeaky frog and duck are the only things that kept our youngest from clawing his way out of the torture chamber/bath tub. We’ve included some classic toy options, some educational options and even threw in some organization tools!

Old School

You can’t get much more old school than this Original Rubber Duck (affiliate). We love the cute classic look! Can’t help but to think about Ernie from Sesame Street – “Rubber Duckie, you’re the one. You make bathtime so much fun…”

And what kid wouldn’t love a boat for the tub? These simple, squirty ones(affiliate) are just right!

Educational

These Water Pipes (affiliate) are a great intro to marble runs! Each pipe empties water through it differently.

Bath time is a great time to have your child’s full attention. What better time to begin introducing him/her to their letters and numbers?
