How to Freeze Ground Meat Like a Smartypants

You’ll wonder why you’ve never thought of this before!

I tend to buy ground beef in bulk when it’s on sale. I then separate it into smaller portions to freeze, but I often find that I freeze it in portions that don’t always fit my needs when it comes time to cook. When I came across this video, I thought, “Why haven’t I been doing this all along!” I bet you’ll find it just as useful!

Whether you’re working with beef, venison, turkey or chicken – this method makes easy to detach bits of meat to keep you from having to thaw the whole thing. It also allows you to use fewer bags. We all win!
