This gathered skirt is a KEEPER! The tutorial includes all sizes and the skirt itself is super simple to make while still being comfortable, stylish and practical — and the pockets! They’re PERFECT! This skirt is a beautiful spring and summer wardrobe basic.
The materials list couldn’t be simpler. All you need is:
- fabric – something light and woven that will gather well (about a yard for kids, a yard and a half or less for adults)
- elastic
- a safety pin
- thread
