Several years ago we began investing in our backyard. With 4 kids and a limited budget, we knew that keeping the kids entertained could get very expensive if we always had to GO somewhere for fun. So we started building and buying things for our yard! We’re not super handy people, so we’ve had to shell out a little moolah for some of the projects, but there are some on this list that even OUR un-handy selves could master. These backyard DIYs cover a wide range of categories and skill levels, but they all have one thing in common – they’ll dial up the awesome in your backyard!

Growing Places

Raised planters make gardening a snap. Taking the time to build one of these in one day will save you hours and hours of weeding. This one is designed to be built up against a house or wall – saving precious space in your yard.
