Today’s feature gift includes a casserole dish and a homemade insulated carrier for easy transport. First, you’ll need a casserole dish. We recommend the (affiliate) Pyrex 3 Quart Baking Dish, 9″ x 13″ with cover. The cover is key for transport!

Please note that the tutorial above works best for Pyrex dishes that don’t have the new larger ergonomic handles (the handles make the dish 16.5″ long). To accommodate the larger size, add 3″ to your length (40″ instead of 37″), or follow this complimentary tutorial. We also love the use of belting straps!
Once you are finished making the casserole carrier, give the dish a personal touch by etching the family’s name on the side. That way, their potluck dish wont be mistaken for someone else’s.
